A homeowner may be given an extension to bring their property in to compliance.  However,  a board or committee cannot approve a waiver that would blatantly violate the community’s declaration.

Home Owners Association (HOA)

Come to one of the meetings and request to join the board.

The HOA is run by fellow homeowners who volunteer their time. 

The management company is a paid provider that manages the community in regard to enforcing the rules and regulations as well as sending fines and collecting fees.
